Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup caramel pieces or sauce for topping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
Line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper
Melt butter and chocolate chips in microwave, stir to combine
Whisk in flour and caramel sauce until smooth
Pour batter into prepared pan, bake 20-22 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
Let cool completely
In a bowl, blend cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth
Fold in half the heavy cream until stiff peaks form
Layer cooled brownies with cheesecake mixture and whipped cream in a trifle bowl or ramekins
Top with remaining whipped cream and caramel pieces
Chill 1 hour before serving
