Description
Chocolate Cake Mix Twix Cookies are soft, chewy chocolate cookies made with devil’s food cake mix and loaded with chopped Twix candy bars and chocolate chips. They’re quick to make and perfect for using up leftover Halloween candy.
Ingredients
- 1 box devil’s food cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 10 mini Twix bars, chopped
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
3. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
4. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Twix bars.
5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place them about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
6. Bake for 10–11 minutes, or until the cookies are set.
7. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
These cookies freeze well for up to 3 months.
