Description

Celebrate Independence Day with these festive no-bake pretzels. Layered with caramel, dipped in white and blue candy melts, and adorned with red stripes and gold stars, they’re a sweet-savory crowd-pleaser with a patriotic twist.


Ingredients

Scale

20 soft caramels (10g each)
80 square pretzels (original classic)
1 cup white candy melts
1 cup blue candy melts
1 cup red candy melts
Gold star sprinkles
Small white candy glitter sprinkles


Instructions

Lay 80 square pretzels on a heat-resistant baking sheet
Place 1 caramel in the center of 20 pretzels
Top each pretzel with another pretzel half to create 20 sandwiches
Microwave red and white candy melts in separate bowls until fully melted
Using a small brush or squeeze bottle, drizzle red and white melts in a zigzag pattern over each pretzel
Melt blue and white candy melts together in another bowl
Dip or drizzle the cooled red/white striped pretzels into the blue/white chocolate mixture to coat evenly
Sprinkle gold star and white glitter sprinkles while chocolate is still wet
Let set at room temperature or in the fridge for ~15 minutes to harden


Notes

Ensure candy melts are food-safe and for delicate dipping. For best results, use 3-part candy molds for symbols. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or in the fridge for a cooler texture.
