Description

Experience the ultimate comfort treat with this Pumpkin Caramel Monkey Bread. This pull-apart masterpiece features bite-sized biscuit pieces coated in a silky, spiced pumpkin-infused caramel sauce. It is the perfect blend of decadent dessert and special occasion breakfast. Using refrigerated buttermilk biscuits, it creates a golden, gooey centerpiece that is both impressive and remarkably simple to prepare. Ideal for family gatherings or cozy weekend mornings, this recipe captures the magic of pumpkin and warming cinnamon in every delightful, pull-apart morsel.

Ingredients

Scale

6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 pinch kosher salt
16-ounce refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan thoroughly.
In a medium saucepan, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, heavy cream, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, and salt over medium heat until smooth and slightly thickened. Set aside.
Cut each biscuit into quarters with a knife or kitchen shears.
In a small bowl, mix the ground cinnamon and granulated sugar.
Toss the biscuit pieces in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until coated.
Place the coated biscuit pieces into the prepared bundt pan.
Pour the prepared pumpkin caramel sauce evenly over the biscuits in the pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and bubbling.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then invert onto a serving platter.
In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with the coconut oil in 20-second bursts until smooth, then drizzle over the bread before serving.

Notes

Ensure you use pure pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie mix. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. Reheat briefly to restore the gooey texture of the caramel.
