Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for strawberries)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
Press half of the crumble mixture (flour, oats, sugar, butter, cinnamon) into a 9×9-inch baking pan as the base
Sprinkle sliced strawberries evenly over the crust
Drizzle lemon juice and cornstarch (if using) over strawberries
Top with remaining crumble mixture, pressing lightly to form a crumbly layer
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly
Cool completely before cutting into 12 bars
Notes
Use frozen strawberries if fresh are unavailable (thaw and pat dry first)
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 24-48 hours or refrigerate for up to 3 days
