Description
These cozy fall cinnamon rolls blend soft dough with a maple-cinnamon filling and drizzle. Perfect for autumn gatherings or weekend brunches, they melt in your mouth with a warm, buttery finish.
Ingredients
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl
Melt butter and let cool slightly
Mix milk, butter, water, and vanilla; add to dry ingredients
Knead dough until smooth, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour
Roll dough into 12×16 inch rectangle
Mix brown sugar, 1/4 cup maple syrup, and cinnamon; spread evenly over dough
Roll up dough tightly, cut into 12 rolls
Place in greased muffin tin, cover, and let rise for 25 minutes
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18-20 minutes
Combine powdered sugar, 1 tbsp maple syrup, vanilla, and milk to make glaze; drizzle over warm rolls
Notes
Use softened butter for smoother dough
Cover rolls with aluminum foil midway through baking if browning too quickly
Store in an airtight container at room temperature up to 2 days
Glaze can be prepared ahead and refrigerated until ready to use
